The Annual Membership Meeting coincided with our Food Tour of Laguna. The
quorum requirement was fulfilled, and the outgoing President, Pia Lim-Castillo,
officially handed over the leadership to the incoming President, Ige Ramos. Prior
to the meeting, Pia emailed to all members the following documents: (1) Minutes of the
Executive Board Meeting held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017; (2) President’s
Report for the year 2016; and (3) Proxy Statement for quorum purposes.
The following items were discussed:
- Food
tours planned for 2017;
- Rainy-day
lecture series planned for 2017;
- Update
on funds, as per the President’s Report for 2016;
- Membership
dues;
- Accounting
and legal matters;
- Cookbook
project; and
- Other
matters.
The current set of officers for the two-year term (April 1,
2017 to March 31, 2019):
